The Australian Indigenous HealthInfo Net

A 'one-stop info-shop' that aims to contribute to 'closing the gap' in health between Indigenous and other Australians by making research and other knowledge readily accessible.

Searching Medline using MeSH

The MeSH heading for Australian Aborigines is: Oceanic Ancestry Group.  This subject will work for some searching, but it does include people groups other than Australian Aborigines.

Alternatively, do a keyword search (untick the "Map Term to Subject Heading" box) for "Indigenous Australians" or "Australian Aborigines".

Yale University has a very good video with instructions on how to search Medline. It explains the concept of MeSH headings very clearly.
