This is a guide to information resources available to staff and students in the School of Psychology. It will be useful for new postgrads and staff interested in familiarising themselves with UWA subject library resources in this area.

Can't find it at UWA? Get It

If you are a Postgraduate or Honours student and UWA does not have a journal article or book you require you can request it using the Library's Inter-library loan and document delivery service Get It.

Place a request via Get It and we will obtain a copy from another library for you.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar does not search all of the Library databases but can be a convenient approach when you just want "something" on a topic.. Enable FindIt in Scholarnew window to access full text.

Welcome to the Psychology subject guide. This is a guide to information resources available to students and staff in the School of Psychology. It covers all aspects of the cognitive sciences including social, applied and neuropsychology. 

Psychology Databases

 A basic search for journal articles can be done using OneSearch, but the databases listed below will provide more search functionality and cover a wider range of journals specific to this subject.  Use the find it @ uwa icon button to open the full-text or, if you are eligible, order a copy through Get Itnew window if we don't have an article you need.
